I am pleased to report the 3X waist is 36 inches unstretched and 48 inches stretched. I'm sad that 3x is only in black. If they all have this much stretch, I may give a 2x a try so I can get a different color or style (yes I already want more). I wear a Torrid 2 and think this is really a Torrid 3. It can probably fit a size 18 to 24. As others have noted, it is a very cute and flattering design. The fabric is very light. The length is a bit above my ankles (I'm 5'2").I purchased the black skirt with the button accents on front. The skirt is absolutely beautiful and I love it so much. I went to go iron it before a funeral and there are no care instructions. I checked this listing and all it says is machine wash. What?! That's incredibly vague. The listing says it's polyester and the skirt sure feels like it but polyester usually comes with very specific care instructions as it can shrink. I know it's only a $20 skirt but at least sew care instructions in the left side like every other brand has always done.Update-Update: So I bought yet another one of these (Da*mn you Amazon, I should be able to review each color, especially since they are different materials!!!) I bought the "Red Floral". First, the background color is not white, it looks more like a dingy, dirty off-white. I was thinking this would be perfect for fall, but I can tell you, this dress is see-through BOTH the front and back side together when you hold it up to light. That's right, by grabbing the each side of the waist band and holding it up flat, I can see through 2 layers. This dress ABSOLUTELY NEEDS A LINING. If you have a slip with details on it, it will show through. The color is a deep orange-red, and there is not quite the variation of color the picture depicts. It's pretty much deep orange-red and brown on a dirty white background. Not the lovely print and good fabric I was hoping for. This one goes back too. Be careful what you buy. Some are great, but there is no way without a lining this dress is worth more than $30---Belle Poque be scammin' or dreamin'.Update 7/19/22:I just ordered 3 more of this skirt. I got the dark red solid, the red and navy plaid, and what I thought from the pictures was a pink/mauve plaid. All 3 plaids are the same material as my first review of the green and black plaid below, and the flannel feeling material. Even though it pilled a bit, on the green and black plaid (my first of this skirt), it's not really noticeable when I am out and about. I think the same will be true for the red and navy.HOWEVER, THE "PINK PLAID" IS NOWHERE NEAR PINKISH MAUVE AND CREAM COLOR the picture shows. It's dark red and tan. So disappointed in Belle Poque, because the pictures are NOT accurate with this one. I already have the solid dark red and the navy and dark red plaid, I don't need another dark red skirt. I wanted a pink plaid to change it up. This one will be going back due to false advertising. I hate the way Amazon only gives you only one review, even if you buy several different skirts. It's BS. I want to give the bad description skirt 1 or 2 stars, but the others are 4 to 5 stars. So...beware and look closely at pictures. Also, the solid red skirt is a thick polyester. It's fine as far as the material, however, the color is an odd red. It's not a bright red or deep scarlet red, but almost a deep tomato red (with hints of rust and orange in the color), which means it does not go with most red things. So finding accessories to match will be a nightmare. They should keep this details in mind when they choose fabric. Most people would want a bright red or scarlet red, which would give them more choice in terms of tops, sweaters, jackets and shoes. Now I have to buy some other thing to match this skirt. After the off colors of the "red floral," and the "mauve" plaid which is really burnt red and tan, and now this off color, that's three article of clothing that nothing will match. So even though the price is OK-ish, it's now expensive, because I have pay out more to have something to wear with these skirts, because I can't very well just wear the skirt alone with my bra out in public. Pity.Original Review:I have gotten several compliments on this (black/dark green plaid) skirt. It can be worn very high on the abdomen or at mid waist, because there is some elastic in the back which makes it versatile. Size chart is accurate, so take your measurements. But it's a flannel like fabric, and somewhat heavy, so it's definitely late fall, early spring and winter attire. Plus, it's already pilling just a little. You can only see it at this point up close, but I dread it may get worse. I just wish this skirt was a bit shorter. I am 5'7" tall and it hits me about 7" from the floor. It would be a great retro, 1950's look if it were tea length. I may hem it. I was hoping I could wear it late spring and summer, but it's too heavy for that. A crinoline really dresses it up, and I can say, with the correct layering a good long coat, it's really warm for cooler climates. This was a great find, although the material feels thin its is very flattering. Plus it has pockets!!!I bought the navy skirt and it was so light and flowy. I really felt like I could be in a vintage movie. I personally like my skirts just below my knee so I did have to hem it but its gorgeous. After I bought the navy one I decided I needed more so I bought the wine, black, and the grey and yellow plaid. All three of the solid colored skirts are amazing. The waist band is perfect. The plaid skirt is made of a different material however. I got it in the same size as the others but it is a bit harder to put on. Its tighter in the waistband. Still fits well it just doesn't stretch as far and therefore makes it a little more difficult to put on.This color is just gorgeous in person! It fits perfectly and is the perfect length that I need it to be in. The material isn't sheer but it isn't heavy at all so wearing it won't be any issue at all - which is something that I was slightly worried about.I am already making plans to add more of these into my closet! :-)THis is a well made skirt with decent weight material that "falls" well and is a lovely autumn/winter garment. and hey.. POCKETS!The waist band stretches well but holds in place well without being overly constricting - and the cut/pattern is very flatteringI was skeptical about purchasing this skirt, but I ended up loving it. The fabric it's made of is a little disappointing, but that's a personal preference. Overall, though, the skirt is flattering, comfortable, and the perfect length for me. Plus, it has deep pockets, which is always appreciated! The color is as pictured.I love everything I have purchased from this brand, but especially this skirt. The fabric is a nice weight, heavy enough for Autumn with a pair of tights but still light enough for the summer. The swoosh is also great. The color is as it appears, and I have never had an issue with the construction of the garments. Pockets are large, though sewn into a seam so heavy items will pull the skirt down a bit. Worth the price, and I want one in every colour! Stretch waist band at the back leaves room for leeway of a few inches in size without making the garment look too small for your body. Highly recommendLe matériel est de très mauvaise qualité. La description du produit sur le site ne correspond pas au produit reçu. Aucune étiquette pour indiquer la marque de fabrication et pour indiquer que le produit est à l'état neuf. This item is not worth the price, it's made of cheap material. Would not buy again. The material is flimsy, it has no pockets! AwfulIt had no pockets when I was expecting to be and the fabric is very thin
