Ok so I really wanted to love this, I mean it’s really gorgeous! But it’s was too tight on the waist the band doesn’t give room. I wanted to return it to get it traded for a bigger size but wasn’t an option available. So instead I gave it to a friend and ordered myself another skirt from another seller in a different pattern. The color of the skirt was just like the photo and the material was thick and warm. I sooo wanted to keep it. I even picked the size based on other people’s reviews. I ordered an XL and I’m normally a large, I guess for this skirt you have to go two sizes up. I didn’t take any pictures of the skirt but it is gorgeous.This skirt is just lovely. I feel so pretty and feminine when I wear it. It can be dressed up with a nice blouse or dresses down with a layered t shirt. I do feel it’s more of a cool/cold weather skirt than a warm weather skirt just because of the weight and thickness of the fabric. The fabric is fairly soft but I like to wear a cotton slip underneath to make it a bit more comfortable without adding bulk.The reason I’m giving it four stars rather than five is because of the cut. The waist is small, I had to go up a size and it’s still a bit snug although I think it’ll fit better as the elastic loosens up. The zipper does t have anything on top to hold the skirt in case the zipper comes undone, no hook and eye or button. This also makes it difficult to zip by myself. The hips are cut generously which I don’t really care for and the pockets, which are a nice touch, add to the bulk of the extra fabric at the hips. I’m average height and the length on me is nothing like in the picture. It goes to my ankles.Order up. The fit is nice thut the belt is especially small. I wear it without the belt and the stretch is fine.I had originally ordered a medium and it was just a bit too big, so I exchanged for a small. The small fits but it's a snug fit. Now, the skirt itself is lovely. I love the length (right beneath my ankles), the pockets are nice, it's not itchy and it has a flattering shape. HOWEVER, just merely trying it on the button came off. I know I said it's snug but it's not snug enough for that to happen. After inspecting the button I found that it was 1 string that was sewn to the skirt, that was tied to a bundle of strings which were attached to the button. So 1 string is all that was really holding that button on. I'm going to sew it on properly myself but I am disappointed about that.After reading the reviews I ordered a size up, but it’s still too small. It definitely seems to be made for small Asian women. That being said, it’s a lovely skirt, and I will be returning it to swap for a bigger size.I am 5'3" and size small in dresses/skirts. I was amazed by the quality like a wool coat but not that thick. Unfortunately, I had to return it and refund came in today (great seller). The color is as pictured and I ordered red. I could zip it up and the length was perfect, but in my waist was too tight like I should not go to any place to eat and keep the blowing stomach in, all the time :) It is a cute skirt (fall/winter) and all descriptions are true, but I needed a size bigger. I am deciding to order it again but in M this time. I definitely think if you order a small, your waist size should not be above 28 inch for this skirt. This way, you would have some room to slide it horizontally around the waist and zip it up without tuck in your stomach, or be able to eat pizza :) This is my suggestion, but you should try it yourself as people have different shapes. I should have known that the models are Asian ladies in those pictures, which is a hint to me to order a size bigger as what I normally wear. Hope my review would help you and this is a quality skirt really.size upOve the skirt, it has fooled everyone thinking it's a wool skirt, the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is after first washing the button came off in the dryer.This skirt is not as heavy as described- it's made out of very cheap material. As well, I got the XXL (I'm usually a L-XL) and it still didn't fit. GRACIAS AMAZON.. como siempre..feliz por la compra..y llego a tiempo también.Es una prenda MIDI de buena calidad, es un poco pesada pero tiene muy buena caída, es lo que esperaba.This seems like a nice fabric and I don’t mind the fit but the lining of the pocket was sewn into the waist band making it impossible to actually wear. I had to cut the pocket to get it to work and now I am going to have to see shut the pocket.Comfortable and thick, good winter skirt. Fits nicely on your waist and flows nicely when you walk.
