Fits as expected and it is very nice. I am usually a size 6-8 and i am towards the wide side and i got a large... usually large corresponds to (8-10) but i was just being conservative. it was a little bit loose ( so i am guessing that a medium would had fit also). But i absolutely love this skirt i have worn it in more than 1 occasion
