The skirt is ideal. I love cotton and the skirt in my size. It's light & flowy, making it easy to wear. Perfect for Spring and our long summers here in SE Texas.The small fits great. I’m 5’ 4” 116 lbs. The material is light weight and comfortable even on a hot day and I love the colors. The skirt is greener than the images indicated but the color does say green. The photos make the skirt look more bluish but I’m happy with it.When I first wore this skirt, I thought it reminded me of one I had long ago. I was afraid that the color and print made it look more dated than vintage. But once I started wearing it, I was very comfortable and got compliments. Mostly positive compliments too, except when people asked me if there was something wrong with my skirt, and I had to tell them it was a frayed knot. I try to tuck in the knot now. I love how it fits, but it does run a little bit small. And that frayed knot really doesn't do much more than sitting there. Because it does run small, the frayed knot tie doesn't have a lot of purposes; my waist is too stretched out to allow the tie to tie in a flattering way. I do love the skirt though and have made it one of my go-to apparel items when I need to do a lot of walking around. And no one has said anything negative about it other than questioning the tie knot.Fits ok, the waistband is a bit too tight on my stomach. Not bad while standing but a bit too tense sitting.My wife’s review: This is a very pretty skirt. The colors and pattern are very attractive. The fabric is thin but soft and comfortable. The skirt is unlined, so a good slip underneath is necessary. I am petite, and this skirt is really long on me. I have to pull it up really high on my waist to keep it from dragging the floor. I also should have ordered a size smaller than I did. I am 5 ft tall, 120 lbs, and I ordered size medium, but small would fit better. The skirt washed fine on gentle cycle and I hung it to dry. The little tassels on the drawstring don’t look as pretty after washing.I was looking for a cool fabric for these hot summer days. This colorful design is fun and fabric doesn’t wrinkle too much. My only negative is that I’m personally not fond of wide stiff waist elastic; maybe in time it will loosen.This is a pretty skirt. The red floral print is nice and vibrant. The buttons going up the front are just decorative and the front slit only goes up a few inches. It's very flowy and drapes nicely. The material is pretty thin but it doesn't seem see through in the red. It also gets wrinkled easily. I think it fits true to size. I'm 5'9, 170lbs, normally a size 10/12 or large, but I ordered an extra large because I didn't want a tight waistband. The waistband is stretchy enough, I think the large would've been fine. I love that it's long enough on me, it's hard to find maxi skirts that almost touch my feet and this one does.This is a lightweight, pretty, boho-style summer skirt. It's a little small and a little short for my expectations, but absolutely wearable. Very comfortable, no issues with tearing or seam separation due to washing or wearing. Color as pictured.
